I am based in Hillsborough, North Carolina, but am available for photo shoots anywhere I can travel with my camera gear. A photo-imagery specialist, I believe that photography is so much more than technical expertise. It begins with great camera skills, then goes on to include set styling and location choices.

Whenever possible, I like to get to know people or places in advance of shoots. There is so much about a person or a place that is hidden. My greatest joy as a photographer is drawing out that special something and capturing it in a distinctive photograph. A photo is more than just an image. It’s a historical document of an event; a memory of faces, places and traces of life. That’s what I shoot for.

When travel arrangements are not possible, I have partner photographers within our business arts community whom I am enthusiastic in recommending.
